This is a new greeting to me. I heard it at church. I really love it, because nothing can beat His peace. Each day, I am reminded to pray for my enemies. So, yesterday, I prayed for Joe Biden and his family. He served the devil, and got nothing for it. So, they really need our prayers. They can do no more harm now, that Trump is President.
The thing is, that JESUS teaches us to pray for our enemies. It is not easy, but it is something we need to do. GOD will take care of those I love- I know this. But will He take care of those who do not know Him? That is why JESUS taught us to pray for our enemies. We might forget- they to are created in the image of GOD. By praying for our enemies, we are reminded of this fact.
Yesterday, I watched a video by R.C. Sproul. I found it very instructional- about apologetics and why we need them, so badly. Apologetics keeps us from blindly having a relationship with a corpse, and knowing that we have a relationship with the living and true GOD. Also, only a living faith can save us. You can go to church all you want, yet your faith might be dead! Wake up. Are you feeling convicted? praise GOD! That is the Holy Ghost at work in your life, convicting you and me as well, of our dead nature. By nature we hate the things of GOD. It is the Holy Spirit who comes into our life, and teaches us about GOD’s Word, and instructs us how to live so we don’t offend GOD. R.C. Sproul, also explained, that Peter gives us a charge to defend our faith, by saying “Be ready to give an account”, so this is where a personal testimony comes in.
Anyways, on Facebook, Traci Costo asked, “What is your life verse”. Well, at first, I wanted to put John 3:16. But instead I put Philippians 4:4. With John 3:16 I know that GOD loves me. I know GOD loves me. BUT, sometimes I forget to rejoice. Philippians 4:4 goes like this: “Rejoice in the Lord alway; and again I say rejoice”. Paul was in prison, when he wrote this. In the context of Philippians, we get the idea that GOD loves us. So, Paul reminds us- to rejoice, as he must have rejoiced. Remember also, that Paul was in a Philippian jail, with Silas. They sang, and GOD caused an earthquake that set them free. The Philippian jailer was saved, because of this. Yet, later it was Paul and Silas encouraging the brethren after they had been released from prison.
In my computer game, I am not doing so well. Currently, France, and Hungary are breathing down my neck. It makes for a tense situation, all across Europe, haha. But, I did have a small victory. The power of Aragon had invaded Pomerania and taken a territory from them. SO, a war developed, where Aragon wanted Sicily. But the Papal States is an ally of Sicily. So, of course, the Teutonic Order got called into battle. So, I didn’t want to take any Spanish territories. Though I would like to acquire Belares. Castille doesn’t need it to form Spain, and I never see Spain with a core on it. It helps to be able to sneak into the Mediterranean with my ships. You can avoid going around Spain that way.
So, I will have to see. I set the difficulty at Normal. It is quite a bit more challenging. On lower difficulties France normally stays in her lane. But this time she has been all over Europe, and annexed several vassals with in Germany. Including Brandenburg and The Palatinate. So, as you can see, if you have played the game, you know its a tense situation, and now I have another border with France. Hopefully, Austria can still spank the French on normal. France has a small army in Berlin, and its half the size of my entire force limit.
That is the map for my current game. For some reason, Portugal was sending ships into the Baltic. I thought they were going to invade somewhere, haha. But its only one ship. Curious. Well, anyways, I just wanted to give you a brief update on my computer game.
I began filling out an application for something called, Reformation Bible College. I don’t know if thats where GOD wants me to go. But I am gonna try and apply anyways. I have to fill out a testimony, and a paper which highlights my academic writing. Pray for me, that I will not only follow through on this, but that regardless of the outcome, I will rejoice!!!
