Every car I get, is a lemon. Except for the Audi and the Hyundai. For some reason, these cars break down, and are totally unreliable. But somehow, by the grace of GOD, my car is now running again. Thanks to the talented locksmith who did what he had to do. It cost over $900!
So, I am listening to an R.C. Sproul message. This is my second time listening to it. It is called “The Parables of JESUS”. He explains, that the parables of JESUS were not just instructional- they also were judgement to those who did not “hear” (or rather, obey) what He said. Very fascinating message. Very convicting. Something JESUS said, that I struggle with is praying for my enemies. That is the most difficult thing to do. Sometimes, it doesn’t even come to mind. Yes, were supposed to pray for our friends, and our relatives, but those who are against us, they need our prayers too.
I always think I will start by praying for 46. That man clicked his heels and obeyed the devil. Yet, despite his obedience, he got nothing out of it. He worked hard. Now, that is a man who needs the Gospel. Imagine, if GOD took the Biden family, and turned it around, and used them for His glory! The world would know, that GOD is real then. Not only that He is real, but that He interacts with His creation, and loves us.
Lately, I have been eating Jack-In-The Box tacos at night. They are so delicious. Cheap too. What a treat.
I am just finishing up my coffee. I plan to go to Mom’s house in about 20 minutes. Yesterday, I bought flowers for Mom, and my Dad helped me deliver them. It was a huge honor to deliver flowers to my Mom. She means so much to me. Not just because of all the boxes, or visiting me overseas. But also because she is my Mom. The other day- I was discussing something important with my Mom. Trying to get her to see my perspective. But I lost my patience, with her. She made a comparison- that didn’t quite jive with my story. It pricked me. So, I got mad. There is never an excuse to yell at Mom.
So, anyways, now I am still listening to R.C. Sproul, and he is discussing the fact that GOD kept Himself a remnant who would listen to Isaiah. GOD always has His remnant. This fact, is so encouraging to me. I believe the remnant of GOD, in our time, is forming. I can see people turning to Him, left and right. I hope He counts me worthy.
No, I don’t. It is because of the famine which is coming. This technology could be used to feed the hungry, yet they won’t do it. Why not? These people in Africa are starving, and we are not doing anything about it when we could. Instead, we are trying to ban this innovative technology. “Where much is given, much is required”. I suspect a lot of the eat today, are “lab-grown”. They taste fine to me. Lets go- start feeding the Africans.
Well, I just finished listening to R.C. Sproul. I appreciate how he would break his sermons down, into daily, meaningful terms. You know, I have heard sermons that are so abstract. Abraham was alive 4000 years ago. How does Abraham apply today, I wonder, for example? JESUS- yes because He is GOD. But what does Abraham mean to you and me, as he lived in a different time period.
