R.C. Sproul, says that we need to think the way JESUS, thought. He calls, Moby Dick, the greatest theological work ever written. He discusses the reward posted for the sighting of the whale. Each person had a different view, of how the reward for sighting Moby Dick would affect there own life.
He is discussing how our world view is established. “Most of us go through our lives, without giving a moments consideration to our life”. A Christian is called, to seek the mind of Christ. From the viewpoint of the eternal. So, that the things we affirm are the things GOD affirms, and the things GOD denies.
It is interesting listening to R.C. Sproul again. Since, I don’t have any messages today, I thought I would listen to him. He has the best intro I think. How I longed to hear it. He discusses the truth. Once, I saw a meme of Yoda, with R.C. Sproul’s face superimposed over Yoda’s face. I realized, that meme was designed to make fun of Sproul. But, I think it would be the greatest honor, on this earth to be compared to Yoda from Star Wars. So, for a long time, I would share it, especially after his death. He died, just as our questions formed. He always had a good answer. GOD empowered him to know things, and now that wisdom is gone- just like Yoda. Yet, like John the Baptist, he is the greatest among men, yet he will be the least among those in the Kingdom. We know, because this is what JESUS said. For, whoever is great among us, must be the least.
What is something JESUS said to do? To love our enemies. I used to not understand this. But if our enemies, are the enemies of GOD- then they deserve our love, because they will face eternal condemnation. We have the Bible, and biblical wisdom readily available to us. In America, but the rest of the world does not. I believe a time is coming in America, where we will not be able to hear, read, or listen to biblical messages, Christian music, or even discuss our faith in public. The murder of Charlie Kirk is proof, of this. He taught the truth, like no one else ever did.
So, don’t take hearing, reading, or listening, to the Gospel for granted. For example, Christian ministries cannot receive money from the government. But mean while, if you are a drag queen, harassing children, you can in fact get money from the government. Its really sad. Our government operates, to please the Devil. This is why, I say its coming- a world without the gospel. This is why I listen to everything I can, so when that time comes, I can be confident in the truth.
