Jeremiah

I was browsing YouTube. Like I normally do, and I saw in my play list, a movie. I have seen other movies, but this one stuck out to me. It is called Bible Collections: Jeremiah. Interesting thing is, I read a verse from Jeremiah! I will share it now, for you.

Jeremiah 1:9 (ESV) Then the Lord put out His hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth”.

Is it not interesting, that on the same day I read that scripture, that the movie appeared. I watched it, and am watching it again. Included is the story of how King Nebuchadnezzar takes over Judah. There is not a whole lot of action, and no gore. It is a really good movie. Any child could watch it. Initially, Jeremiah struggled to actually deliver his message from GOD. But, before assuming his duties as a priest, he ended up delivering what GOD had put on his lips. The call to repentance. Anytime GOD assigns judgement to a place, He sends a call for repentance.

Anyways, I ended up eating with my Dad. We went to Sam’s Club, and had pizza. The pizza was so good. Instead of a fountain drink, because there fountain drink machines are down, we had bottles of pepsi. I saved mine, and so did my Dad, so that we could cool them and enjoy them later. Then, after that I came back to my apartment.

When I got back from Sam’s Club, that is when I first watched Jeremiah. Then, after the movie, I went to my Dad’s and told him about it. Then, I tried to see if my Mom was home. She was not. So, I smoked, in “The Place of Hope” I call it. It is the one place at my Mom’s house with a breeze, and shade. We setup and American flag there too. I took a picture of it once, and sent the picture to Steph. She liked it! So, ever since that place is known to me, as the place of hope.

I rely on GOD. He has guided my steps, so I hope GOD will use me, now like He long ago used Jeremiah, for His will. If I am worthy. Because I think, I am being called to be a Pastor. I don’t even know how to be a Pastor. But I believe He will guide my steps, as I said. I will persevere until I am where GOD wants me. His will be done. The Peace of Christ be upon you!
