Breakfast At Chick-Fil-A

I didn’t make it for breakfast. But I went for dinner. I was so glad to, I hadn’t had Chick-Fil-A in over a month! It was so delicious too. I always feel so refreshed when I come out of Chick-Fil-A. Its because the atmosphere, the people, and last but not least the food. For some reason, they are just so friendly, and it makes me smile. A rare treat in these days. If you have a Chick-fil-A near by, I recommend it!

I didn’t just eat Chick=Fil-A though. I also got a haircut, and a massage. I checked in online with Great Clips immediately after breakfast. Then, I had my Dad drop me off. It was a guy who gave me my haircut this time. But I gave him my standard tip of $5. I left the beard alone this time.

As I mentioned, I also got a massage. The place next door to Great Clips is a Foot Spa. But they offer a 60 minute full body massage. It was so relaxing, and just what I needed. I felt like a new man after my massage. That is what I told my brother when I got home. Because it was raining, I caught an Uber home. Originally, I was going to walk back to the house.

That is pretty much how my day went. Originally, I was also going to go to the Apple Store. But It was raining, so I decided not too. I just wanted to be able to enjoy the storm, at home. I ended up making a pot of coffee for it. In fact, I am drinking coffee now, as I write. I drink a lot of coffee. I am also listening to the late John MacArthur. He is teaching about the church. SPeaking of the church, I wanted to share a brief message with you about JESUS by a pastor in one of my Facebook groups. It was really good.

This sermon was about belonging. Like who do we belong too? He used Church and family as his examples of things we belong too. But I think he also could have used our country, too! In this age of “globalization” its easy to lose sight of the fact that we belong to a country! My country is America. Which country do you belong too? Let me know in the comments below.

Anyways. He went on to discuss what Peter had to say. About us being a royal priesthood and chosen before we were born, in the sight of GOD. This is because of JESUS, he explained in his brief sermon. Peter was such a fascinating character in the Bible. He denied JESUS, yet he was fully forgiven and restored! It was so bad, he grabbed his net and went back to fishing. The story of Peter being restored is so encouraging to me. Anyways, watch the video! You will not regret it.

Tomorrow is Friday. perhaps I will go to the Apple Store tomorrow. I will grab an Uber and see how much it costs. I gotta stretch my money out through the whole month. I am currently unemployed, and trying to prove unemployability at the VA. This is difficult, because I like to work. Infact, I love having responsibility. But for now, I have to occupy my time with different things. Maybe I will get a good live stream going on twitch. Or, perhaps I will actually get down some of my thoughts, and write a book. I could write about my travels in the NAVY.

I still have not made contact with Bert. I got a whole list of phone numbers from the private investigator. Supposedly, they have a Facebook, but I guess they cannot give it to me. Thats what my Dad said, anyways. I really want to connect with Bert. Hopefully, we can play WoW together. It just is not the same without Bert. Even though it is fun. Shalom.
