Breakfast At Chick-Fil-A

Well, it is now Tuesday. But I am going to write about Monday, and what I discovered. I do a lot of studying of prophecies. I just learned about Kim Clement. Allegedly, he prophesied about Trump, running for President in 2007. Even before Obama. That stuck out to me. I try to be mindful when dealing with prophesies. Because sometimes, people can be mislead if they are not careful. There are all kinds of scams out there, for instance, which use GOD and prophecy for money.

I was on Elon Musk’s “X” today, and discovered something interesting from UT Austin. It was a study and lecture on Jane Austen. Here is the link for it:

Basically, the research was trying to ascertain why people still crave Jane Austen, when her books came out so long ago. I think it has to do with wholesome entertainment, really. Her writings were pure, and I learned so much by reading Pride and Prejudice. They talk about inequalities, but I think it was just so neat reading books from that era- that my Mom allowed me to read. Her writings, were again, pure and uplifting to a degree as well. I don’t like cussing. I was in the NAVY, and so on occasion I still drop cuss words. But I try to control it, and most of the time I am successful. Thats why I like John Wayne. He had plenty of opportunities to cuss, and never did that I heard.

On Facebook I got into a discussion. The OP was talking about purity in films, and which ones lack sex scenes. I actually mentioned the BBC films of Jane Austen’s works. Also, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter, were mentioned too. These were all successful films which did not include sex scenes. I avoid such, when I can. Supposedly, they put them into films to attract females viewers. But I find that to be hogwash in my experience.

Another one for me, is violence. I know some stories are told, and they were violent. But even Saving Private Ryan, the opening scene was overtly violent, and unnecessary. There were other war films, without that level of violence. Then, to lately, films have random scenes of violence that have nothing to do with the plot. When I see those things, I just keep in mind, there god is dead. My GOD is alive!!! He does not like the violence either. I will write more on this, in a future post.

Of course, I don’t want to leave off mentioning the Persecuted Church- those who sometimes give there lives, to worship JESUS. Here is another example of a place, where the people undergo cruel treatment, for there faith in JESUS. Not Allah, and not Buddha.

Sometimes, North Koreans are fortunate enough to be able to leave. Sometimes, when they do, they are seeking the freedom to worship JESUS.

I like the imagery of the crusaders. Because it resonates with today. Those men, who went to fight for the Holy Land, were brave, and courageous. They went boldly, for they understood who went before them. Sometimes, today they are mocked and ridiculed. But I find, the people who do that are ignorant about them, and what they really achieved. The song itself, is done in Heavy Metal. But you can clearly hear the tune. Enjoy!
