Billy and Kathryn II

This morning, instead of Chick-Fil-A, I had IHOP. I wanted some grits! Can’t you tell I am from the South? Later, I did get coffee at Chick-Fil-A, however.

This is not my first blog. I had posted a story about Billy and Kathryn. I consider them to be, my first real friendships and connections. My old blog is inaccessible. So, I decided to write here.

Kathryn

Ladies first. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of her to share. But she is especially beautiful. I don’t want her to be upset with me for sharing a picture of her, if she finds this somehow, which I doubt. But our families met in 1989, I think. Her brother and my brother became close friends, so I ended up becoming friends with Kathryn and her sisters. Even to this day I still feel a close connection. Sadly, her father died in December. I am sure she is very sad about it. I will keep them in my prayers. We went to Youth Group together, for a while, and it was really special. Our families did Psalm singing too, I remember. So much spiritual growth took place with her and her family. She is now married, I am not sure what she does. But I saw where she was volunteering at a Church. Pretty neat. I really miss you, Kathryn! If you come across this, and decide you want your picture up, I would be grateful to add it. I am very happy for you, and your family!!!

Billy

Without Billy, I don’t think my friendship, with Kathryn would have amounted to much. Billy, and his family would also come and sing Psalms with us and it was so neat. One time we had a competition to see who could find the longest Psalm to sing. I think I ended up winning that one. We would play street hockey. It was so much fun too.

This picture of Billy, is from an open source. Billy is a counselor in Michigan somewhere. I think he also does somethings with University of Michigan. He did a lot of school. He was Army for a while. I don’t know if he still is or not. Maybe he still is, look at the haircut. Anyways, Billy bought me a computer game called Exploration and it was one of the best games I ever played. we would play along side each other, as there was multiplayer in it. So much fun! That and Battlechess. Yes, I really miss Billy, but I am happy for him and his family.

These were the first two friends GOD gave me, and I remember them each time! GOD has made those times, unreachable to the enemy, so they are always pleasant to think about.
